SAN FRANCISCO — One of San Francisco’s longstanding cultural festivals turns 75 next weekend, bringing three days of Greek food, dancing, music and cathedral tours to Valencia Street.
The 75th San Francisco Greek Food Festival runs Sept. 18–20 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 245 Valencia St. Admission is free.
What are the 2026 Greek Food Festival hours?
- Friday, Sept. 18: 11 a.m.–10 p.m.
- Saturday, Sept. 19: 11 a.m.–10 p.m.
- Sunday, Sept. 20: 11 a.m.–7 p.m.

What Greek food is on the menu?
The festival’s current menu includes dolmades, avgolemono, spanakopita, tiropita, baklava, galaktoboureko, kataifi and loukoumades, along with Greek coffee and other drinks.
Greek beer, wine and ouzo are also listed for adults.
When are the Greek dance performances?
Friday’s combined dance presentation is scheduled for 8 p.m. Saturday performances are at 3, 6 and 8 p.m., and Sunday performances are at 1, 2:30 and 4 p.m.
The organizer says each performance is followed by guest dance instruction, giving visitors a chance to try the steps themselves.
When are the cathedral tours?
Tours are scheduled Friday at 3 and 6 p.m., Saturday at 1 and 4 p.m., and Sunday at 12:30 and 3:30 p.m.
What about parking and transit?
Annunciation Cathedral says paid parking is available in its garage and on nearby streets but warns that space is limited. The organizer recommends public transportation or rideshare.
16th Street Mission BART is nearby, and major Mission corridor Muni service includes the 14/14R Mission and 49 Van Ness/Mission.
If you stay until the 10 p.m. Saturday close, note that BART switches to a special 30-minute service pattern after 10 p.m. Sept. 19, with the Red and Green lines not operating.
