The Consulate General of Mexico in San Francisco, MNC Inspiring Success and the Mexican Civic Committee of San Francisco list the event for 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Civic Center Plaza, 335 McAllister Street.
Admission is free. The organizers describe the gathering as a community festival with music, Mexican antojitos and the civic independence tradition.
