What is happening?
Dirtybird's takeover of the Thrive City plaza will combine house-music DJ sets with local vendors, interactive games and merchandise. The organizer lists Dirtybird merchandise, North Beach Psychic, tooth gems, face painting, jewelry and accessory vendors. A special food-and-drink menu is also advertised. The venue lists $12 chicken sliders and $15 cocktails, so free admission does not mean food or shopping is free.
How to get there on Muni
For visitors coming from downtown, the T Third Street line connects Chinatown, Union Square and Mission Bay. Use the UCSF/Chase Center stop near Third and 16th streets and follow the posted walking directions to the Thrive City plaza. Muni travel is not automatically free simply because the plaza event is free; confirm your fare and live service information before departure.
Drivers should check the venue's paid garage and nearby parking options. Expect event-area congestion if there are concurrent Chase Center activities; no specific closure or parking shortage is confirmed here.
What can visitors bring?
The venue does not allow lawn chairs, coolers, drones, bicycles on the plaza, smoking or outside alcoholic beverages. Pets must be leashed, subject to the venue's service-animal guidance. Check the current venue policy before arriving; permitted items may be subject to security screening.
Do I need a ticket?
The organizer lists free admission and links to an RSVP system. Register in advance for the latest admission instructions and check whether capacity has been reached. Entry and lineup details may change.
