The mountain lion seen around 44th Avenue and Ulloa Street Friday morning was tranquilized and taken into state wildlife custody. Researchers fitted it with a satellite collar before a planned return to the wild.
The Richmond District’s Autumn Moon Festival returns to Clement Street Sept. 12 with food, performances and family activities. City documents call for a six-hour festival plus a much longer street closure.
