SAN FRANCISCO — A free Little Saigon-themed street event is coming to Larkin Street on Saturday, Oct. 10, filling the afternoon with live music, dance, family activities, karaoke and food.
Live on Larkin: Little Saigon Edition runs from noon to 5 p.m. and is part of the Tenderloin Community Benefit District’s free street-event series.
What time is Live on Larkin?
The Little Saigon Edition runs Saturday, Oct. 10 from noon to 5 p.m.
Where is Live on Larkin?
The linked registration listing places the event at Larkin Street and Eddy Street, using 600 Larkin Street as the address. It also lists the event as all ages.
Is Live on Larkin free?
Yes. TLCBD describes the series as free. The event page also links to an Eventbrite ticket page, but the organizer’s own description identifies the street event and activities as free.
Food and drinks sold by vendors are separate purchases.
Who is performing?
The current program lists dance performances by Johnny Huy Nguyễn and Sebastian Lê, with DJ sets from Kat Lê and Cyn Phươnganh Lê.
Live music listings include Green Sound Band, Rebirth Canal, Jammaster Vu, Victoria Thúy Vi, Toan and Sab Star.
The organizer has not published a complete set-time grid on the current event page, so the safest plan is to treat noon–5 p.m. as the event window rather than arrive for one act based on an unofficial schedule.
What activities are there for families?
The organizer lists a pumpkin patch, balloon bubble house, wearable crafts, karaoke and games alongside music and performances. Wellness vendors and food and beverage vendors are also part of the current program.
What else is happening that weekend?
The event falls on the same Fleet Week weekend as the Saturday air show and waterfront crowds. People coming from the northern waterfront should expect heavier traffic across the city. See our Fleet Week guide for the citywide transit and closure picture.
TLCBD also lists a free instrumental-jazz performance by Signless at Boeddeker Park on Sunday, Oct. 11 from 1 to 2 p.m.
What should you check before going?
The organizer’s current event page confirms the noon–5 p.m. window and performers but does not provide a complete stage timetable or a detailed street-closure and Muni advisory. SF News Today will add those details if an official operational notice appears.
