SAN FRANCISCO — One of the Mission’s biggest September street festivals returns Saturday, Sept. 12, and the organizer has now published the main-stage schedule.
Fiesta de las Américas is advertised from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. along 24th Street in the Mission, with current event information placing the festival footprint between Bryant and Folsom streets. Admission is free.
Calle 24 Latino Cultural District has also published programming for the main stage at 23rd and Harrison streets, giving visitors a much clearer picture of when to arrive.
What is the Fiesta de las Américas stage schedule?
The current Calle 24 schedule begins at 11 a.m. with a blessing by Danzantes. The announced main-stage program includes:
- Arenas Dance Company, 11:45 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
- Los Kimberos, 1–2:30 p.m.
- Latin Dance Grooves, 2:45–3:15 p.m.
- La Gente SF, 3:45–4:55 p.m.
- Cuicacalli Escuela de Danza, 5:15–6 p.m.
DJ Luis Medina is scheduled between several performances.
Where exactly is Fiesta de las Américas?
Current event listings place the public festival along 24th Street from Bryant Street to Folsom Street. The organizer’s vendor instructions show setup activity around 24th and Harrison beginning well before the public start time.
Vendors are directed to enter through 25th and Harrison, 23rd and Harrison, or Treat and 24th, with an exit at 24th and Alabama. Setup begins at 8 a.m., and vendor vehicles are supposed to be off the event streets by 10 a.m.
Which streets will be closed?
This is the detail to treat carefully. SF News Today has not yet found a current 2026 SFMTA notice that confirms the exact public street-closure window.
Organizer instructions clearly anticipate street setup on 24th and Harrison, but vendor access instructions are not the same thing as a final city traffic advisory. In 2025, SFMTA closed 24th Street between Folsom and Bryant, Harrison between 23rd and 25th, and adjacent blocks, but readers should not assume the identical operating plan until the city publishes the 2026 notice.

What is the best way to get there?
24th Street Mission BART is the nearest BART station serving the neighborhood, followed by a walk east along 24th Street toward the festival.
The 48 Quintara/24th Street normally serves the corridor itself, which also means it is a route to watch for event-day reroutes. Check SF News Today’s live transit page before leaving Sept. 12.
