Paseo Artístico is turning 10 with a free outdoor block party in the Mission on Saturday, Oct. 10. Acción Latina says the anniversary program runs 11 a.m.–6 p.m. on Harrison Street between 23rd and 24th streets, with the 24th Street stage in front of Temo’s Cafe.
The event is free and all ages. It combines a main stage with cultural venues, vendors, kids activities, murals, music, dance and the broader Calle 24 arts network that has shaped Paseo since it launched in 2016.

Short visual-art, vendor and community-mural moments are interspersed between the music sets. Acción Latina also lists a kids arts table and multiple cultural venues participating beyond the stage.
Where exactly is the block party?
The outdoor block party is on Harrison Street between 23rd and 24th streets in the Calle 24 Latino Cultural District. The main stage is listed at 24th and Harrison, in front of Temo’s Cafe.
Is Paseo Artístico free?
Yes. The organizer describes all programs as free for all ages. No paid ticket is required for the street program.
Why is this Paseo different?
Acción Latina says Paseo Artístico began in 2016 as a family-friendly bilingual community art walk. Over the past decade, the program has presented more than 2,000 artists across 53 events. The Oct. 10 edition is designed as a retrospective celebration, bringing back artists and partners from across those years.
What else is happening in the neighborhood?
Paseo is broader than one stage. Partner venues named for the anniversary include Brava Theater, Dance Mission, Precita Eyes Muralists, Community Music Center, Medicine for Nightmares, Mission Cultural Center, Artillery AG Ceramics and others around the 24th Street corridor.
Dance Mission also lists a 3 p.m. “Clothes on Fire” program before Fogo Na Roupa’s 5:30 p.m. outdoor performance, so visitors who want to combine indoor and outdoor programming should check the venue’s separate details.
How should you get there?
The event sits close to the 24th Street Mission corridor. Transit is generally easier than trying to park immediately around a block party. Check the SF News Today transit desk on Oct. 10 for any same-day Muni changes.
